Another Great Weekend.

WOW What a fun weekend. Monica kept good to her word on helping with the wine. I think we may have all enjoyed it a little more than we expected to. 5 Bottles of white an approx 5 bottles of red. IT was so good going down. Luck for me I was the only one (Who drank an abundance of) who didnt get to taste it twice. :~). Of course I did have to work at 4am , so waking up at 3:30 after going to bed at about 1:30 made me feel like I wanted to be sick :~). I didnt take any pic's but Monica got lots like always. I am sure we will see some of them. Maybe even some not so flattering ones but I guess I deserve it after the "Guy in Drag Comment" about her bad pic.

A Very Special Thank you goes out to my Big Sis Anne for being able to get the last minute things completed as I think April and Monica really werent in the best of shape. Mom, JJ, and Derek were all big assistants to Anne as well.

Anyhow the day is getting nearer. Am I nervous? Well nothing really ever makes me real nervous but I guess maybe I am a little bit.

Miramichi next weekend - We have to settle up on flowers and chat with the church singer. I still got another piece of cake to bake and freeze. I already have all my fondant ready to roll though. April has her hair appointment to do. I really cannot believe how quickly the time is flyin by.

Hey I almost forgot. I got a really cool Calgary Stampede Post card on Friday. Thanks to Les, Aaron and the boy's. Really can't wait for everyone to be down, were gonna have us a lotta fun.

3 Weeks..Oh No.

Yep. 3 Weeks and a couple day's left to go and I have oh so much left to accomplish. For Example:

Paint the living room / Make a cake. and at least one of them have to look good.

Lose a couple pounds / Bottle some wine . At least I know one of those are easy to accomplish, I can bottle without drinking it all.

Find a couple of people willing to do a reading at the wedding / Find a stripper in Miramichi with all of her teeth. :~) (ok just joking on that one but it sounded funny at the time).

However, I did find some solutions.

April is going to start on the living room for me. I already started the cake I only need to double up 2 more layers.

Bottle the wine(with JJ, Monica, Anne and Derek coming to visit this weekend, I may not need to bottle) :~) not sayihng they drink alot just saying maybe they can help.

Lose a couple pounds(Why bother..They arent like keys or money that you have a hard time finding...They will find there way back and bring buddies)

Finding people to do readings. Father Diotte already volenteered himself should we not find anyone, but remember he is old and it could take a while. So if I have any volunteers I would be glad to provide the material in plenty of time. Any Takers? Come on they are short. :~)
We dont really wanna be in there all day do we? We want to get the part started early right? Am I doing a good sell job at least?

As for a stripper...I dont think so. Last time I met a stripper she had me move in with her, have kids, and then marry her 11 years later. JUST KIDDING but I am oh so dead now :~) LOL

(Stripper as in paint stripper. thats what I meant dear honest) :~)

I finally did it!!

Well the kids have been outta school for a few weeks now and have been anxiously awaiting the tradition of the grading gifts. Well Dad has been so busy that he kept putting it off. This was good for the girls becuase it also gave me more thinking time, and time for some good sales to come on too.

SO I finally did it yesterday..I packed the three girls into the van and went for a drive. Low and behold they are now the proud owners of a 16 foot diameter Swimming pool. I just got one of the easy fillup ones because I plan on getting a full pool and deck either next summer or the summer after. But hey for $199 I thought it was a steal of a deal. Tonight is the 2nd part of the setup and tomorrow am I have the waterman coming to fill us up. That's another expense but it's not to bad, the waterman is treatin me good.

As always, Time has been hard to find but I decided to take this Friday afternoon off of work. It may set me behind a bit but I will be working tomorrow and sunday as is so why sweat it.

Luckfully, my weekend work hours are 4am till noon so I dont lose to much of my weekend days.

MY Question is Where did it go?

People usually say where did what go? and I reply Everything

REally think about it I look fdown and say where did it go? At my size it can mean My Toes(HAvent seen them in a while)

It can be my Dickie Doo(you know when you belly stick out more than you dicky do.)

It can be many things Like The Money(with a new house and a Wedding I think I might know where that went).

But Time. I am not sure where it went at all. I dont have enough of it but it seems to go faster than I can accumulate it. The wedding is quickly approaching and my gray hairs are coming in faster and the kids are getting big and I havent time to rest and kick back. To many things to do not enough time. So my question to all is Where did it go?
