20 dollar dates just dont happen...

Hello Everyone,

I really liked the thought of a date for 20 or under so I thought April and I would give it a try. With my charming good looks and personality I was able to talk my boss into giving me an April tickets to the Jimmy Flynn Show that work was hosting for a national Union conference. OK OK so it wasnt good looks or personality it was them needing me to do computer work and make miracles which I seem to always be able to do. And for tomorrow night we will be going to a banquet and a dance with Donnie and the Monarch's. For both events the tickets are $0 and we get a free drink(April can have a Soda), and we are getting top notch food from a Columbian Chef that was imported from Russia a little less than a year ago. Tonight We feast on Lobster or Chicken and have a Kitchen Party with Jimmy Flynn. Included are Joke Books and Jimmy Fisherman Hats. So it is an Excellent fun filled night out. and over all it is under 20 bucks....Then comes the Babysitting....OUCH. Basically we pay 10 bucks an hour and we will be gone for 5 hours each night, so our Free weekend with lots of classy food and fun just cost us 100 Bucks. When I think of it we can easily blow 100 bucks taking the kids out to supper at Boston pizza or somewheres like that so It is all so totally worth the 100 bucks.

WE have thought of taking the date night theme one step further and started planning for family nights for under 20 bucks. After doing some research I found that as a family we can go out almost any night of the week to free concerts in the city. On south Side we have the pipe bands and dancers or country music on tuesday and thursday nights. On wednesday and friday they have rock and Jazz on the North Side. Every sunday night is a Free clasic movie in Officers Square downtown. For all of the free concerts and movies it is a bring a chair or blanket and picnic sort of thing. I think we will be doing a lot of that this summer, unless I start working for another company again, then it will be weekend fun only, but for now I'm a planin as if I have evening to the family.

Hmm Baby sitters will be here soon so I best be running. WE are all doin good and keepin out of trouble the best we know how. Meg's will be going to Middle School in the fall and Michaela is movin on up to grade 3. Wow how fast they grow. AT least they are pretty good little ladies still and I cannot complain.

Later Ya'll

Another Month Gone as Life rushes forward.

Can I say WOW.

Everyone got big things going on. Hey Monica Congrats to ya'll gettin the Key's. That is great News. Busy Busy Busy. When ya gonna pop so we can make a trip down. I have my vacation booked, so I think you should wait until about the 27th. Does that work for you? LOL

I read about cool concerts and hey I think I may be inviting one awesome painter to my home real soon. His work looks very professional. And talk about some fun with the Boy's, Jeepers Creepers who keep breakin them young fellas.

And the Big Guy may be over the hill now(seeing that 50 is now a thing of the past for him) But he is still got his good looks.( I woulda said but he still has his hair but come on now really) LOL

We have been busy/ stressing / going crazy. Another Baby on the way, tax season for the business which is now pretty much defunct. I may try and get it active again but the motivation has kinda hid away for now. I got some great ideas and I am making steps towards them but not at the pace I would have liked too.

I may be going on yet another Trip. This one mean's I will be working for free again. Geez whats up with that. Well it is a good cause and I am wishing it will be bringing some hope to people that really need it. Location is still unknown at this time but it will be either Nairobi, Jakarta, or Guatamala. I will be working with a group called Nethope. Nethope is guided by a board made up of members from OXFAM, Save the Children, World Vision and so on. Our goal is to setup Satelite communications in villages and train a couple of key people in each village to be able to use the communication systems. An example of the use of the communications setup would be allowing Doctors Access to Specialists in North America and Europe via the internet.

Anyhow I think it is a cool adventure and a worthwhile cause. I would only be going for 1-2 weeks and it looks like mid-late August is the timeframe. I never asked work about it yet, but I am certain they will be all thumbs up as always. I mean I have to say I have the best job going when it comes to freedom to do things I beleive in .

On the Girls front life is interesting as well. It look's like Meaghan and Michaela will be competing at the National Highland Games, which is being held in Saint John this year. then they will also be cometing in the Miramichi Festival later in the summer. Who wouldahave known that dancing could put dad into the poorhouse. Come on 200 dollar socks, ouch.
But hey they like it and Madison will be starting classes this fall too. One of the teenage girls that goes to the same dance school got picked to dance at the Scotish Tattoo in Scotland this summer. She will be dancing everynight for a month. So there is some cool things they can do in the future. Daddy is praying and buying tickets for the 40 mil tonight. He's gonna need it especially with another on the way.

Later folks. I will try to update more than once a month.
