Does Butter really make the carpets shine?

Well the cleaning, the packing and the craziness continues. Only one more Sleep... WE now totally have the Apt apart and I am ready to get it over with. I have just about all the carpets cleaned and yesterday Madison(Who is fasinated by butter) decides to help clean the carpets. Yeah so take a nice big dab of butter and use the scrub brush to brush it in real nice. I think had she done it on any of the pieces I havent done then I woulda been alright with it, but oh no she goes for the cleanest piece. :~)

Michaela had her birthday last saturday, she got one of those 1 gig MP3 player gadgets from mom and dad and now April thinks that she may like one. We didnt have a party for Michaela due to the move and such, but I like suprises...For Meaghans last birthday we had a wonderful suprise birthday party at Anne's in Halifax. Meaghan didnt have a clue and I think if I wasnt behind her when we went into the house that she woulda ran back out she was so shocked.

So on the weekend of the 8th of April we will be settled and having a suprise party for Michalea. She doesnt suspect a thing. We are expecting Monica and the gang and possibly Amy and Mitch. Mitch is still around right? She didnt trade him in for a younger version or anything did she?

I have already been scheming some fun things and planing some games. Now that we have so much more room to play with, and since it is the weekend before Easter, we may have a pre easter egg hunt. Actually, If I remember correctly the Mactaquac Park has a huge hunt the weekend before easter every year. And they have some wicked prizes too I think last year for the person that found the Golden egg they got a new mountain bike. They have eggs hidden in the woods and in the fields and they always have a huge turnout of people(It is best to get there early)....

We will have to wait and see what comes up that weekend. oh no I hear April coming in from sending the kids on the bus, I better get back to work before she catchs me slacking.

Later.

7 more sleeps...and even Meg's is getting excited.

Where has the time gone...Just last week I had 15 days before move and now I am down to 7.
It is exciting and busy and crazy at the house right now. We have dismantled Meaghans bedroom and are using it for a place to store packed boxes. Well it is so full now that it is spilling out of the room.

WE have taken apart the bunks in the other room and the kids are in Camping mode. Matresses on the floor with sleeping bags. Of course we have all of there blankets there but it is more like a campout if you have leeping bags. I even took down the Baby's crib and put her in the room with the 2 girls. She thinks it is cool as she is a big girl now. Mommy on the other hand has a broken heart, as her last baby has moved on from being a baby to being a little girl and she doesnt sleep in our room any more.

This weekend is the final drive for getting it all packed as my week is always so busy I dont have much time to do anything during the week.

I hope April is ready for the air matress and sleeping bags.....

15 days and counting down......

Wow, it is hard to believe that we will finally be in our house in 2 weeks time. It has all happened so fast. Well Actually April and I have been looking for just the right home for 2 years now. But she liked some things and I liked others. And well we both really like this one so it works.

I noticed that Anne had posted some pic's the other day of Monica'a favorite hat. I thought it was cute so I decided to post a picture of Madison's newest craze in headware. It is a disposable hat with lots of ventalation.

We were in Miramichi a couple of weekends ago and I got to take a picture of all the girls on April's side.

We have Madison and Shailyn with Michaela and Taylor and Hailey and Meaghan in back. I'd feel sorry for a boy if he ended up in this mix.(If Val and Cliff have a boy, I think they oughta name him Sue. Cause no ones gonna mess with a boy name Sue.)

Last night was Hair night for dad, Meaghan and Michaela. Dad got the regular number 1 buzz and the girls did a close second by having most of there hair chopped off. It was what they have been bugging me for and April wouldnt let them do it. But Dad's like you wanna look like dad not a problem. It is quite the change to see Meg's with her hair off of her shoulders and relly KayKay too. It's a nice change, but I dont think they'll ask for there hair to be short again.

In wedding New's...There will be no new news until we are all moved into the house and starting to settle again. I personally found the hardest part was picking the BestMan. You really dont want to hurt the feeling of any of your long time friends, so the choice has to be a careful one, yet a sensible one too. I think a good best Man is one that is always there for you in good times and bad(not that I have bad times - well hmmm I was feeling pretty bad after the last time we went out but that was so totally self inflicted.) I think a good best man is the type of guy that is not afraid of his softer side and would rub your belly when you had to much to drink.

Now you tell me did I pick the right guy or what.(Miramichi 2 weeks ago)

Thanks, for the belly rub Cliff.

School Photos

Ok. So The school had a poor choice of backgrounds for little Joseph, so Uncle Henry decided to make a more appropriate background for him.

This is a 5 min job and not perfect but...What can I say a dashing young fella deserves some dashing buddies to acompany him.

Bribery is an art form in my house.

So the great packing challenge is on. We have exactly 3 more weeks from today to get the apartment completely packed so that the moving company can come and grab the stuff and then go drop it off. I was a little worried as it is hard for April to pack during the day with the Baby being such a handful, so I had a great idea and the kids bought into it. I hired Meaghan and Michaela as employees. Being a good business man I had to interview them to check out the skill set to see if it matched what I was looking for. Once they accepted the 2 dollar an hour salary the tasks began. 2 bucks an hour is a horrible pay but not if your 6 and 9. See I am trying to teach them to look at the big picture, they have the oppertunity to work 5 hours per day and collect 10 bucks each at the end of each day. With this week being march break for them they have 7 days at 10 bucks plus the regular 10 dollar allowance thats 80 bucks each.

Meaghan has done really good at packing up the book shelves and such and Michaela is doing really good at keeping the baby entertained and outta trouble.
by the end of the day yesterday we had the smallest bedroom in the apartment covered floor to ceiling in packed boxes.

I am thinking that each girl may have the money they need to buy all the little things for decorating there bedrooms just the way they want.

And Madison well she's been helping a bit too, she likes to put the money in the laundry machines and to push the button on the dryer. It is a shame that all of her earnings have to go back to mom and dad to pay for all the Magic erasers to clean up her daily works of art, and also to buy eggs which she enjoys breaking oh so much.

I was told by a co worker that it is called third child syndrome " the third child is the badest of all" Well I think Madison had made the final decision on having anymore children, I dont think I could handle another badness. Then again I was told that another baby would be just what we needed to keep Madison busy and out of trouble.
My luck she would teach the baby how to get into trouble more than the baby help her from avoiding it.

Oh well Life goes on.

Have a great day everyone.

Henry

The results are in...and the winner is. :~)

I must say Thank you for the votes and the Poll.

But please remember April and I live in Fredericton, which has never heard of a Home Outfitters store. Heck, we gotta drive to SaintJohn if we wanna go to Home Depot.Fredericton is the most expensive place in NB for housing, yet we dont have any cool stores.
We go to Moncton for Costco and Saint John for Old Navy.

And oddly enough we got a nice new toaster for Christmas this year(a 4 slicer). So really I think we have everything we need. I know it is hard to believe but we really do.

April and I are the type of people if we see something we want we get it. Not always a good thing trust me. We have more Kitchen Appliances than you could possibly imagine. (We even have 2-3 of some things (slow cookers for example).

And maybe we are missing something that we dont know about, but if we dont know about it do we really need it. The only thing I can think of personally is a beer holder for the ride on mower / snow blower. Or Maybe some Liposuction equipment so April and I can play doctor(I know I know To much information... LOL).

I am just looking to having a good time this summer with all the family coming to visit. I do truely appreciate the thought everyone has put into this but we will honestly be happy by just having people show up.

Thanks,

Henry

Gift registery...Ahhh I dont think so.

OK so people have been asking about gift registery and stuff like that and what we would like for the new house and such.

Well to be completely honest, we dont need / want anything. April and I decided to get married because, we have been together for almost 11 years now and we have 3 kids so we knew it was the right thing to do but we needed to work at it and select a time good for us and with most of the family coming this summer as it was the timing was right.

We have collected many things over our years together and we needed the house desperately so that we can get most of our stuff out of storage and make it usable to us again. Funny how the first thing in storage was the stuff I needed most(exercise equipment).

So that being said, I wont be registering at any gift places. Our gift will be the presence of family and friends, and one heck of a good party.

I really do appreciate the thought and thank you.

Now that we will have th house this summer everyone is also welcome to come visit. We'll have lots of room :~).

Have a good day everyone.
